Swedish iGaming software solutions provider Cubeia has officially launched its long-awaited Poker 2.0 platform. The new version boasts a cutting-edge multi-threaded game engine, developed entirely in Java 21, alongside a newly enhanced graphical user interface.

To mark the occasion, Cubeia’s Hybrid Poker Network is hosting a four-week Beta Test Series. Players who participate and report any bugs they encounter have the chance to earn up to $55 in tournament tickets as a reward. Built for performance, the new server engine can easily support six-figure player loads and has been future-proofed with features such as a poker lobby API — ready to be offered to external providers under the right agreements.

One of the major improvements of the new server is the ease of adding new features. With thread safety now built into the engine, developers no longer need to wrestle with complex implementation challenges, making updates faster and smoother. Previous technical debt has also been cleared, streamlining the process of rolling out improvements and innovations.

The timing of the release couldn’t be better, with several operators preparing to go live before the end of the year. Cubeia is excited not only to grow its poker network but also to respond to operator feature requests with increased speed and flexibility.

Commenting on the launch, Cubeia’s Head of Poker, Simon Isbäck, said:

“After about a year and a half worth of development, we can finally clap each other’s backs and be proud of what we’ve accomplished! On Thursday, I will be looking forward to hosting a huge launch party for the entire team! New features will drop faster than ever, and we’re looking forward to launching many industry-relevant features as well as some brand new ones. This is only the beginning!”
