Rise & Hustle, Africa’s next-generation tap-to-earn gaming operator, has expanded its platform by introducing sports betting through a new partnership with leading sportsbook technology provider Altenar.

Under the agreement, Altenar will supply thousands of daily pre-match and in-play events, fast markets, cash-out functionality, a full suite of esports options, and extensive coverage of traditional sports for Rise & Hustle’s Nigerian players.

Football, including the English Premier League, will form the backbone of the offering, supported by comprehensive coverage of local competitions to meet regional betting demand. Crucially, players will be able to wager in Naira, creating a seamless and familiar experience.

Rise & Hustle users will also benefit from personalised bet recommendations, integrated wallets across casino, free-to-play and sportsbook verticals, and an optimised mobile and desktop interface. A free-to-play element will award users free bets, boosting engagement and loyalty.

Altenar’s mobile-first, customisable front end aligns with Rise & Hustle’s brand identity, while its advanced risk management systems safeguard profitability and prevent fraud. Operators gain access to real-time, competitively priced odds and 24/7 trading support, underlining Altenar’s focus on service.

The partnership builds on a strong year for Altenar in Africa, following the award of its South African licence in December 2024 and the appointment of Brendon Jeacocks as Regional Director.

Tassos Theocharidis, Senior Sales Executive at Altenar, said:

“We’re delighted to team up with Rise & Hustle to deliver a new sports betting experience to its players. We firmly believe in the operator’s potential in the fiercely competitive Nigerian market. We look forward to enhancing their existing offering with the addition of our award-winning sports betting technology.”

Josh Jones, CEO & Co-Founder of Rise & Hustle, added:

“Our collaboration with Altenar enables us to deliver a world-class betting experience tailored to Nigerian players’ interests. The onboarding process and speed-to-market were two key factors in choosing Altenar and rolling out a sportsbook solution will help us attract new demographics as we evolve our business.”
