How do users of cryptocurrency bettors handle volatility? Does the use of crypto technology make cyberattacks easier to carry out? What effects will crypto tools have on the iGaming sector? The Next.io Crypto Series is the result of the collaboration between renowned events and media business Next.io and global software supplier SOFTSWISS.

Notwithstanding the bias, the SOFTSWISS State of Crypto reports that, in comparison to the same period in 2022, cryptocurrency bets saw an 18.7% increase in monetary growth in the first three quarters of 2023. The four-part audio series will offer even more insightful information on cryptocurrency in iGaming.

A different facet of the subject will be covered in each episode by Pierre Lindh, the podcast presenter and co-founder of Next.io, together with an invited expert. While the second part will go into the intricacies of creating a cryptocurrency business, the first episode attempts to provide light on the background and development of cryptocurrency gaming. Experts will talk about the actions of cryptocurrency players in the third episode, and the future of crypto tools will be the topic of the last episode.

On January 31, the Next.io Crypto Series will premiere with “Evolution of Crypto in iGaming,” a special guest appearance by SOFTSWISS founder Ivan Montik.  A fascinating tour through the history of cryptocurrency, tales of the earliest projects launched, obstacles overcome by the pioneers, and conversations on important subjects like cyber security are all in store for listeners.

Andrey Starovoitov, Co-CEO at SOFTSWISS, comments:

“In 2013, SOFTSWISS made a historic introduction of a Bitcoin-optimised online casino solution. In 2024, celebrating our 15th anniversary, we still see the enduring relevance and massive potential of crypto solutions for iGaming. Nowadays, a project without crypto support loses a broad audience and the image of a top-notch product, not to mention additional regulatory freedom. I am delighted to announce the launch of the podcast series, full of valuable information and capturing stories.”

    Pierre Lindh comments:

“We are grateful for SOFTSWISS’ willingness to share their insights and success stories related to the integration of cryptocurrency in iGaming. This technology is rapidly emerging as a foundational element within our industry. It is crucial, therefore, that we initiate meaningful dialogues to fully comprehend how this technology can be leveraged to positively transform and shape the future of our sector.”

Listeners can tune in to the Next.io Crypto Series on popular platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and LinkedIn, making it easily accessible to a wide audience.
