Previously, product load times in Asia were hampered by reliance on centralised servers located in Frankfurt, resulting in delays that negatively impacted user experience. To address this, GR8 Tech:
- Deployed a standalone main frontend solution for its platform.
- Established a new data centre in Asia, which has reduced load times and improved service delivery across the region.
- These changes have delivered tangible benefits, with web performance metrics improving by 25%.
Optimisations and Future Plans
GR8 Tech has also partnered with an optimal content delivery management provider, bringing services closer to users and increasing access speeds. Additional front-end optimisations have further improved operational efficiency. Looking ahead, backend infrastructure upgrades are planned to reduce frontend-to-backend calls, further enhancing speed and reliability.
