ICONIC21 has announced a sponsorship agreement with Vilnius-based ice hockey club Hockey Punks – MOTOTOJA, marking a significant step in the company’s expanding presence in Lithuania.
The deal arrives alongside the opening of ICONIC21’s new operational hub in Vilnius, a facility spanning more than 1,400 square metres of office and studio space across two floors.
The new hub is designed to support ICONIC21’s growing European operations, with the company signalling clear ambitions to establish Vilnius as a key centre for its business activities.
New employment opportunities are being created at the site, with recruitment already underway for roles including game presenters and studio technicians for the expanded facility.
ICONIC21 has stated its intention to focus on attracting local talent, offering careers within what it describes as an international business environment for people at all stages of their professional lives.
The sponsorship of Hockey Punks – MOTOTOJA is presented by the company as a natural extension of its values, with ICONIC21 citing ambition, teamwork and continuous improvement as qualities shared by both organisations.
The ICONIC21 brand will be featured across Hockey Punks – MOTOTOJA assets throughout the upcoming hockey season, giving the iGaming provider direct visibility across the club’s platforms and matchday presence.
Hockey Punks – MOTOTOJA has developed a strong local following in Vilnius and is regarded as a well-established part of the city’s sporting community, making it an attractive partner for a company investing heavily in the region.
Rokas Benetis, Country Manager at ICONIC21, spoke about the partnership and what it represents for the company’s direction: “Vilnius is becoming an increasingly important part of ICONIC21’s story. As we continue building our presence here, we wanted to support an organisation that represents the same values we look for in our people: dedication, resilience, teamwork and a drive to improve. Hockey Punks – MOTOTOJA has built a strong connection with the local community, and we’re proud to be part of that journey.”
Šarūnas Kuliešius, Head of Hockey Punks – MOTOTOJA, also expressed enthusiasm about the agreement, stating: “We believe this partnership will be long-lasting and mutually beneficial.”
The deal reinforces a broader trend of iGaming companies using sports sponsorships to embed themselves within local communities, particularly in emerging European markets where brand recognition and community trust are increasingly valuable.
