01.tech has revealed early results from its Markets module, a prediction markets product built directly into the company’s operator platform.
The module allows players to make predictions across a wide range of topics, including politics, economics, technology, cryptocurrency, and pop culture alongside traditional sports.
Prediction markets have long existed within complex financial ecosystems, and 01.tech has adapted the concept into a transparent, familiar iGaming environment for operators and players alike.
The commercial impact has been measurable, with the module driving non-sports traffic, boosting user engagement, and helping operators fill seasonal gaps between major sporting events.
Sportsbooks have always been structurally bound to the sporting calendar, meaning off-seasons, international breaks, and midweek lulls create predictable revenue dips that traditional sports lines struggle to address.
Prediction markets operate on a completely different cycle, driven by an uninterrupted global news stream that turns breaking events into active wagering opportunities the moment they happen.
Markets includes fast markets for predicting cryptocurrency price movements over a five-minute window, creating an engagement loop that is much closer in pace to casino-style entertainment.
The module connects different iGaming verticals by giving casino players a fast-paced binary prediction experience while offering sports bettors an engaging alternative during quieter periods on the fixture calendar.
As a result of bridging these audiences, 01.tech says average spend, lifetime value, and overall platform revenue see meaningful increases when the module is deployed.
Alexander Lobov, head of sportsbook at 01.tech, explained the company’s approach to building the product and bringing it to market for operator partners.
“We took one of the industry’s strongest trends, stripped away complex Web3 mechanics, adapted it to a familiar user experience, and integrated it fully into our platform,” said Lobov.
“We provide partners with a turnkey tool to acquire new audiences and monetise news-driven momentum,” he added, pointing to the commercial opportunity around real-world events shaping the global agenda.
