WinSpirit has launched one of its most ambitious player engagement campaigns to date, building a unique initiative around the emotional experience of gaming itself.
The campaign, called Euphoria Lab, forms the cornerstone of WinSpirit’s summer 2026 marketing push and takes a decidedly unconventional approach to player rewards.
Rather than distributing standard bonuses, points, or leaderboard rankings, Euphoria Lab asked players to describe what winning actually feels like to them on a personal level.
Over several weeks, thousands of community members contributed to the project by sharing emotions, memories, places, and sensations tied to their most unforgettable gaming moments.
The responses gathered were strikingly vivid, with some players describing the anticipation before a big win as “Empty streets after summer rain.”
Others compared the excitement of discovering a new favourite game to the first sunlight after a storm, the smell of a forest after rain, a fresh ocean breeze, or morning coffee before a new adventure.
WinSpirit then used these collective emotional descriptions to craft a signature fragrance designed to reflect the full emotional spectrum of the gaming experience.
Kate Jones, PR Specialist at WinSpirit, explained the thinking behind the project, saying: “We’re always looking for ways to build something with our players, not just for them — projects that pull them into experiences beyond the screen.”
Jones added: “Euphoria Lab is that idea taken further: instead of another bonus, we wanted to give the community something they helped create and can actually hold.”
The campaign does not conclude with the fragrance simply being produced and shelved as a marketing asset for internal use.
Later this month, WinSpirit will launch an on-product tournament giving players the opportunity to win the physical Euphoria Lab fragrance as the actual prize.
That move gives the entire campaign a full-circle quality, as the community helped shape the scent and can now compete to take it home.
Players contributed their most personal feelings about winning, those emotions were distilled into a tangible product, and the finished fragrance now re-enters the community as something to be won.
For WinSpirit, the results of the initiative suggest that involving players directly in the creation process generates a level of engagement that conventional promotional mechanics rarely achieve.
The brand frames Euphoria Lab as a demonstration of how player engagement can evolve beyond digital rewards and into experiences that genuinely exist in the physical world.
