SBC Announces Five Inductees For 2026 Hall Of Fame Class Including Jason Robins And Mor Weizer

The SBC Hall of Fame class of 2026 has been revealed, with five influential industry figures set to be honoured at a ceremony in Lisbon next month.

The induction ceremony will take place on Monday, 28 September 2026, at 15:30 at Palácio Estoril Hotel, as part of the exclusive SBC Leaders Summit.

The Leaders Summit is an invite-only event for senior industry executives and takes place the day before SBC Summit 2026 officially opens its doors.

Now in its tenth year, the SBC Hall of Fame was originally launched in 2016 under the name the Sports Betting Hall of Fame, reflecting how much the industry has transformed over that period.

This year’s five inductees are Khalid Ali, CEO of the International Betting Integrity Association, and David Natroshvili, Founder of Spribe.

Also inducted are Jason Robins, Co-Founder and CEO of DraftKings, Karen Marcela Sierra-Hughes, Vice President of Latin America, Caribbean and Spain at Gaming Laboratories International, and Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder at SBC, offered his thoughts on what makes this particular group of inductees so significant to the broader industry.

Sojmark said: “When I look at this year’s five inductees, what strikes me is how much ground they cover between them. Entrepreneurship, technology, integrity, regulation, operator leadership. You don’t often get that in one room.”

He added: “Celebrating them in Lisbon isn’t just about five great careers. It’s a chance to recognise how far our industry has come, and the people who got us here.”

This year’s class joins a long line of distinguished past inductees, including 2025 honourees Esmeralda Britton, Chad Millman, and Scotty Schettler.

Among the wider Hall of Fame alumni are widely recognised names including Denise Coates, Founder and CEO of Bet365, and Victor Chandler, Founder of BetVictor.

Other past inductees include John Anderson, Former CEO of 888 Holdings PLC, Fred Done, Founder of Betfred, and Carsten Koerl, Founder and CEO of Sportradar.

The SBC Leaders Summit itself brings together more than 500 C-level executives for what is considered the most exclusive gathering of its kind in the industry.

Attendees participate in closed-door networking sessions, panel discussions, presentations, and both regional and regulatory roundtables throughout the day.

The evening programme moves to Casino Estoril, a historic venue widely credited as the inspiration behind Ian Fleming’s James Bond, for a cocktail reception, gala dinner, poker tournament, and after-party.
