FeedConstruct has signed a landmark deal with the World Baseball Softball Confederation, marking a significant departure from its recent focus on football and basketball partnerships.

The SoftConstruct-owned sports data and streaming provider has been aggressively securing contracts across Europe, South America and Asia throughout 2026, with football and basketball federations dominating its portfolio until now.

This latest agreement represents a fresh strategic direction for the company, branching out into baseball for the first time in recent memory.

Under the partnership, FeedConstruct secures exclusive worldwide data and live streaming rights for premier international baseball events organised by the WBSC.

The deal covers low latency live video and real-time event data collected exclusively from a series of upcoming and ongoing tournaments across multiple continents.

Among the tournaments included is the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup group stages, which began on 22 July and concludes on 23 August 2026.

Additional coverage extends to the WBSC Premier12 Barcelona and Zhongshan Qualifiers, running between 9-11 October and 26-29 November, plus the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2026, beginning on 6 November.

Michael Schmidt, Chief Executive Officer of the WBSC, welcomed the deal and outlined its core purpose for the organisation and its wider stakeholders.

Schmidt said: “The WBSC is committed to making our events more accessible than ever before while delivering greater value to our athletes, fans, broadcasters and commercial partners.”

He added: “This partnership with FeedConstruct combines world-class technology with a truly global distribution network, ensuring our premier international baseball events reach new audiences around the world.”

Schmidt further stated: “We are delighted to welcome FeedConstruct to the WBSC family and look forward to working together to continue growing the global profile of our sport.”

For FeedConstruct, the agreement directly serves its growing network of sportsbook operators who demand high-quality, stat-rich content for in-play betting markets.

Narek Harutyunyan, CEO of FeedConstruct, described the agreement as a defining milestone in the company’s broader global rights acquisition strategy.

Harutyunyan said: “This alliance with the WBSC marks a defining milestone in our global rights strategy and underscores our mission-critical role within the sports ecosystem.”

He continued: “By securing the worldwide data and streaming distribution for these premier baseball tournaments, we are equipping our network of hundreds of sportsbook partners with highly engaging, premium sports content.”

Harutyunyan also noted baseball’s natural compatibility with the in-play betting market, saying: “Baseball’s high-frequency, stat-driven nature makes it an exceptional asset for in-play engagement, and we are thrilled to work alongside the WBSC to bring this high level of competition to our partners.”

The partnership reflects growing commercial appetite for baseball content within the global sportsbook industry, where live data and streaming coverage drive significant wagering activity.
