LeoVegas Group Brings Tiger Sportsbook To UK Market In Major Technology Milestone

LeoVegas Group has launched its proprietary Tiger sportsbook technology across its UK-facing brands, marking a significant step in the company’s platform migration journey.

The MGM Resorts-owned operator has now moved its BetMGM, LeoVegas, and BetUK brands onto the Tiger technology stack, completing the UK rollout.

The UK launch follows successful migrations in Sweden, Denmark, and Brazil, continuing the group’s global push to unify its brands under a single in-house sportsbook platform.

Tiger was originally acquired from German operator Tipico in 2024 through a deal facilitated by MGM Resorts International, after Tipico wound down its US operations and sold off its product and technology platform.

The proprietary sportsbook delivers a broad range of betting products including Flex Combo betting, odds boosts, cash-out functionality, live streaming, Bet Builder markets, and pool betting.

LeoVegas Group views Tiger as the sportsbook equivalent of its highly successful Rhino casino platform and Stack technology architecture, expecting it to deliver the same competitive advantages.

Adrian Vella, Chief Product and Technology Officer at LeoVegas Group, described the moment as transformative for the business after an extended development period.

Vella said: “This marks one of the most significant moments in our two-year journey to build a world-class, proprietary sportsbook. Every market launch has helped us refine the platform, improve the customer experience and strengthen our competitive edge. Launching in the UK demonstrates our commitment to investing in our own technology.”

James Derbyshire, Sports Director UK&I at LeoVegas Group, highlighted the importance of the UK market specifically, pointing to its status as one of the world’s most competitive iGaming environments.

Derbyshire said: “Launching our proprietary sportsbook, Tiger, in the UK is another huge milestone for the Group. As one of the most competitive iGaming markets in the world, I’m excited to see our customers enjoy the product and engage with some fantastic new sports betting features tailored specifically for the UK market.”

The group believes Tiger will enable faster innovation cycles, stronger data integration capabilities, and a more personalised customer experience across all its sportsbook operations.

With the UK now live, LeoVegas Group’s proprietary sportsbook footprint continues to grow, positioning the operator to compete more aggressively against established rivals in one of the world’s most demanding regulated betting markets.
