FeedConstruct has struck a new partnership with the Malta Premier League, acquiring exclusive worldwide video streaming rights for every match in the competition.

The Armenia-based sports data provider has also secured non-exclusive official data coverage as part of the deal, which will transition to fully exclusive rights after the agreement’s first year.

The Malta Premier League has grown considerably in popularity in recent years, with its fanbase and commercial appeal expanding across European and global markets.

The 2025 Malta Premier League Final between Hamrun Spartans and Birkirkara drew a record-breaking audience of over 87,000, underlining the competition’s rising profile.

Despite that growing enthusiasm, no Maltese sides will feature in European competitions this season after four clubs were knocked out during the UEFA Conference League qualification stage.

Floriana, Hamrun, Marsaxlokk, and Valletta all fell at the qualification hurdle, with Floriana having also been eliminated from the Champions League by Shamrock Rovers.

The 12-team league is nevertheless set to kick off next weekend, with the competition maintaining strong entertainment value for both domestic and international audiences.

Alan Abela, Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Premier League, welcomed the deal, stating: “We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with FeedConstruct through this agreement.”

Abela added: “This collaboration marks another important milestone for the Malta Premier League as we continue to enhance the quality, visibility and commercial value of our competition.”

He expressed confidence in the partnership’s long-term potential, saying FeedConstruct’s expertise and technology will play an important role in supporting the league’s continued development.

For FeedConstruct, the Malta deal rounds off a productive stretch that has seen the firm secure footballing partnerships in Wales, Ukraine, and Nicaragua within just a few weeks.

The company is simultaneously expanding its basketball portfolio, having recently landed deals across markets in both Asia and South America.

Narek Harutyunyan, CEO of FeedConstruct, described the agreement as a significant step forward for the firm’s European rights portfolio and global ambitions.

Harutyunyan stated: “By integrating this highly competitive domestic tier into our ecosystem, we ensure only verified, official match data is distributed to our global network.”

He added that showcasing Maltese football worldwide remains a priority, and that sportsbook partners will benefit from the technological tools needed to maximise year-round engagement.
