Genius Sports has announced a new partnership with prediction market exchange Kalshi, covering official sports data, marketing, media, and integrity services.
The deal will see Genius Sports supply Kalshi with real-time official data drawn from its extensive global soccer rights portfolio across multiple top-tier competitions.
Leagues included in the agreement span the English Premier League, Serie A, Liga MX, Ligue 1, and the Argentine Primera División, giving Kalshi access to verified data at scale.
The partnership is designed to strengthen transparency in how sports prediction market contracts are settled, reducing dependence on unofficial or delayed data sources.
Kalshi will also join the Genius Sports information-sharing network, which provides enhanced market monitoring and restrictions around certain market types to help protect sporting integrity.
Integrity monitoring and information-sharing provisions form a central part of the agreement, reflecting growing regulatory and commercial expectations around prediction markets.
Marketing services delivered through Genius Sports’ Legend-owned media properties are also included as part of the broader commercial arrangement between the two companies.
Adam Barrick, Head of Sports Partnerships at Kalshi, commented on the significance of the deal for the wider prediction market sector.
“As the prediction market ecosystem continues to expand at a rapid pace, the use of official data and integrity services is more important than ever,” said Barrick.
Genius Sports separately announced a comparable partnership with Polymarket this week, covering official data, live streaming, integrity services, and league intellectual property across select competitions.
The Polymarket news triggered a 14.3% jump in Genius Sports stock the previous day, with shares rising a further 2% at 11am Eastern on news of the Kalshi deal.
The back-to-back announcements highlight how prediction markets are increasingly adopting the same commercial data infrastructure that traditional sportsbooks have long relied upon.
Genius Sports, listed on the NYSE under the ticker GENI, has positioned itself as a key partner for emerging prediction market platforms seeking credibility and compliance-ready data solutions.
