GGBET UA and Ukrainian football club FC Polissya have reaffirmed their shared mission to “bring sport closer” to fans across Ukraine.
The partnership, which first launched in June 2025, has evolved into a broad creative collaboration spanning exclusive content, fan events, and media activations.
The 2026/27 Ukrainian football season kicked off on 2 August, with FC Polissya opening their campaign against Chornomorets Odesa on Sunday afternoon.
GGBET UA has built its Ukrainian marketing strategy around the deep community roots that football clubs hold across the country, recognising sport as a powerful cultural touchstone.
Beyond FC Polissya, the betting brand also partners with FC Dynamo Kyiv, the 17-time winners of Ukraine’s national title and the country’s most recognised football club.
“As football remains the most popular sport in Ukraine, its audience is naturally one of the brand’s key areas of focus,” GGBET told SBC News, while acknowledging the importance of broader sporting diversification.
“At the same time, GGBET UA does not limit its activities to football. The brand continues to invest in different sports and develop our product to meet the needs of fans, regardless of their sporting preferences. That is why we are continuing to expand our portfolio of strategic partnerships.”
Reflecting that commitment, GGBET UA became a sponsor of the Ukrainian Basketball Federation and the Ukrainian national 3×3 team in 2026, broadening its reach well beyond the football pitch.
One of the standout joint projects between GGBET UA and FC Polissya is The Pack’s Code, a creative campaign that showcases the new club kit for both the men’s and women’s squads while revealing personal stories from the players.
Fans can discover why players chose their specific jersey numbers, hear about funny incidents from their careers, learn about pre-match superstitions, and explore personal facts the players are willing to share.
GGBET’s creative team worked alongside external specialists including a stylist, photographer, and makeup artists to produce the campaign, which is available in Ukrainian on the club’s website.
The “Polesia Wolves,” as FC Polissya’s supporters affectionately call the club, have embraced the collaboration as a way to deepen the connection between players and the fanbase.
By 2026, GGBET UA had established a leading position within Ukraine’s competitive sports betting industry, operating throughout a period of considerable national difficulty.
“It is difficult to make predictions about the growth of an industry in a country experiencing a full-scale war, as this factor remains highly unpredictable,” a GGBET spokesperson reflected.
“Nevertheless, GGBET UA continues to operate and pay taxes in Ukraine, thereby supporting the country’s economy,” the spokesperson added, underlining the brand’s long-term commitment to the market.
