CIRSA posted Q2 2026 net revenues of €637 million, representing a 10.1% increase compared to the same period a year earlier.

EBITDA climbed 8.3% to reach €202 million for the quarter, marking the first time in the company’s history that figure has exceeded €200 million in a single quarter.

Adjusted net profit surged 55% to €75 million, underlining the strength of CIRSA’s operational performance across its key markets.

The Q2 result represented CIRSA’s 72nd consecutive quarter of operating-profit growth, a remarkable streak that underscores the business’s consistent underlying momentum.

For the first half of 2026, net revenues climbed 9.1% to €1.26 billion, with EBITDA rising 8.4% to €396 million across the same period.

Adjusted net profit increased 43.5% in the first half, while net profit rose 84.9% and earnings per share grew 69.8%, which the company described as its strongest half-year performance to date.

Latin America led regional growth with a 12.1% increase, while CIRSA’s Spanish businesses delivered a solid 7.7% rise over the same period.

Online gaming and sports-betting revenue grew by 14.9%, supported by record active-player numbers and strong customer-acquisition levels throughout the quarter.

Commercial activity received a notable boost from the opening phase of the FIFA World Cup during the final two weeks of the quarter, accelerating online acquisition metrics significantly.

First-time depositors rose 3.6 times during the World Cup event period, while new registered users increased 3.1 times compared to typical activity levels seen outside major sporting events.

Management acknowledged it remains early to judge whether customers acquired during the World Cup will remain active over the longer term, reflecting a cautious but measured outlook.

Bolt-on acquisitions completed at the end of 2025 continued to support growth and margins, adding incremental contribution to the company’s overall financial position heading into the second half.

Analyst questions during the results focused on CIRSA’s online strategy, its mergers and acquisitions pipeline, and how the company intends to manage its capital structure going forward.

Management said it wants strong local teams to stay in place, while centralising certain costs through shared suppliers and technology tools across its international operations.
