BetMakers delivered a highly productive fourth quarter of financial year 2026, covering the three months ended 30 June, with multiple major technology partnerships successfully integrated.
The Australian supplier posted adjusted EBITDA of A$4.5m for the period, representing an 18% margin and an 89.3% increase on last year’s Q4 figure of A$2.4m.
Revenue climbed 9.4% year-on-year, rising from A$22.1m to A$24.2m, driven in large part by new commercial relationships with prominent operators across global markets.
Gross margin came in at 68.5%, reflecting the company’s continued focus on high-value, technology-led revenue streams rather than lower-margin volume business.
Management has maintained that 10% annual revenue growth, a 70% gross margin and a 25% or greater adjusted EBITDA margin remain the company’s targets over the next three to five years.
On all three metrics, BetMakers is only marginally short, and the trajectory suggests those benchmarks are well within reach in the near term.
CEO Jake Henson expressed confidence in the company’s direction, asserting that its “market-leading technology, expanding verticals and our focus on high-margin, technology-led growth, positions us very well as we head into FY27.”
Executive chair Matt Davey echoed that sentiment, saying the sustained revenue growth and improving margins “is exactly what we set out to deliver this year.”
The partnership with global operator Stake, originally signed in December 2025 to help expand Stake’s horse racing product, was fully integrated during Q4 and is expected to have had a meaningful positive impact on quarterly performance.
The agreement runs for three years with an option for a further two, giving Stake access to BetMakers’ fixed-odds pricing, tote and trading capabilities, as well as global racing content, rights-holder data procurement, racing streaming and all Racelab products.
Stake is among the largest online gambling platforms in the world, though its horse racing vertical is comparatively new, having only launched in 2024, making the BetMakers relationship a significant growth enabler.
New and extended arrangements with CrownBet, ATG, BetConstruct, Evoke and UK Racing further broadened the company’s commercial footprint throughout the quarter.
Henson elaborated on the full-year effort behind the Q4 result, stating: “Throughout FY26, we focused on supporting leading operators and expanding our product suite, while maintaining tight control of our cost base, and Q4 reflects that approach.”
He added that BetMakers “deepened our partnerships globally and brought key customers: Stake, CrownBet and Dafabet.com.au to market” over the course of the financial year.
With margins improving, revenue growing and a strong pipeline of operator relationships now active, BetMakers heads into FY27 with considerable momentum behind its technology-led growth strategy.
