SBC Summit 2026 will dedicate a full track to exploring how online casino operators can build smarter, smoother and more engaging player experiences in a crowded market.
The iGaming Product and Design track takes place on Wednesday, 30 September, hosted on the Tech and Innovation Stage at the event.
Casino operators, game developers and technology experts will gather to examine what separates standout casino products from the competition in an increasingly saturated industry.
Sessions will follow the complete player journey, from first registration all the way through to long-term retention strategies and loyalty programme development.
Smarter onboarding, AI-powered game design, seamless cross-platform experiences and evolving loyalty mechanics will all come under scrutiny throughout the day.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said: “Casino players judge a product by how simple, intuitive and entertaining it feels. They do not see the compliance systems, data infrastructure or commercial decisions operating behind the experience, but each of those elements influences whether players register, continue playing and remain loyal to a brand.”
Sojmark added: “The iGaming Product and Design track will examine how those behind-the-scenes systems and decisions can work together to remove unnecessary friction, support more informed product development and create casino experiences that deliver genuine long-term value for both players and operators.”
The track opens with a session titled “RegTech: Is invisible KYC actually achievable or just another industry fantasy?”, addressing one of the most persistent pain points in player acquisition.
The sign-up process remains one of the biggest moments of player drop-off across the industry, making the question of frictionless, compliant onboarding commercially critical for operators.
Panellists Elen Barber, Managing Director of Online at SkyCity, Matteo Iannucci from GeoComply’s Business Development team in Europe, and Giorgi Tsamalaidze, CLO at Random Systems Georgia, will tackle the topic together.
The panel will break down the technology driving onboarding innovation and assess whether invisible KYC can simultaneously satisfy the competing demands of players, operators and regulators.
Delegates seeking deeper learning beyond the main stage can access two Education+ sessions, including the Player Experience Academy and the Electronic Gaming Academy Masterclass.
The Player Experience Academy will explore how gamification can strengthen engagement and loyalty while also supporting responsible gambling practices across casino platforms.
The Electronic Gaming Academy Masterclass will examine how modern player behaviour data can be used to inform stronger and more commercially viable casino product decisions.
A dedicated iGaming and Casino zone on the show floor will connect game studios, platform providers, live casino suppliers and player engagement specialists throughout the event.
SBC Summit 2026 runs from 29 September to 1 October at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena, expecting 40,000 industry professionals across three days of networking, exhibition and education.
