Throughout July 2026, gaming supplier Amusnet is channelling the invoiced value of one of its most popular titles toward earthquake disaster relief in Venezuela.
The initiative follows devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela, leaving thousands of families displaced and countless animals injured, abandoned, or separated from their owners.
Amusnet will dedicate an amount equivalent to 100% of the invoiced value of its Caramelo Sortudo title to support ongoing relief efforts across the country.
The company is granting operator partners across Venezuela a full discount on the game’s invoicing, encouraging each partner to donate the equivalent amount to local rescue organisations.
Those donations will go toward foundations and organisations focused on rescuing, treating, and protecting dogs that have been caught up in the disaster.
The choice of Caramelo Sortudo as the vehicle for this campaign is deliberate, given the game’s deep cultural roots in Latin American communities and its symbolic meaning.
The title was inspired by Brazil’s iconic caramelo street dog, a figure widely regarded as a symbol of resilience, optimism, and companionship across the region.
Hillary Flores, LATAM Marketing Manager at Amusnet, explained the thinking behind placing the game at the centre of this effort.
“At Amusnet, we believe that companies have a responsibility to stand by communities when they need support the most. Caramelo Sortudo has always been a game about resilience and hope, making it the natural choice for this initiative. We hope this campaign inspires our partners and the wider industry to come together and help those who cannot ask for help themselves,” Flores said.
Amusnet is also calling on the broader iGaming industry to support humanitarian and animal welfare organisations operating on the ground in Venezuela during this critical period.
The company frames the initiative as proof that gaming can move beyond entertainment to serve a genuine social purpose when circumstances demand it.
Every contribution made through the campaign is intended to bring care, relief, and hope to animals and families still working to rebuild in the aftermath of the earthquakes.
