A dramatic rise in American market activity has emerged as one of the standout stories behind Sportradar’s third-quarter performance, with US revenue climbing 47% to €98m.
The surge reflects both geographic expansion and the fast-growing prediction markets sector, which has become an increasingly significant contributor to the company’s top line.
Overall, Sportradar posted total revenue of €362.5m for the three months to 30 September 2026, representing a 24% increase compared with the same period a year earlier.
The acquisition of IMG Arena last November has also played a meaningful role in the group’s growth trajectory heading into the back half of the year.
Betting Technology and Solutions, Sportradar’s largest division, was the primary engine of that growth, with revenue rising 27% to €296.7m during the quarter.
Within that segment, betting and gaming content delivered the most striking gains, with revenue jumping 37% to €242m, underlining strong operator demand for live data and streaming products.
Not every metric within the division moved in the same direction, however, as managed betting services revenue dipped 3% to €54.7m, providing a modest drag on the overall segment result.
Sportradar’s Sports Content, Technology and Services arm also recorded double-digit growth, with revenue advancing 11% to €65.8m for the quarter.
Increased costs accompanied the revenue expansion, though pre-tax profit still managed to climb 14% to €33.1m, demonstrating that profitability continued to move in a positive direction.
Zooming out to the year-to-date picture, total revenue reached €1.09bn, an 18% improvement, while adjusted EBITDA grew 20% to €244.5m across the first nine months of 2026.
Looking ahead, Sportradar expects adjusted EBITDA growth on a constant currency basis to land within a range of 24% to 27%, signalling continued confidence in the company’s near-term trajectory.
The results reinforce how diversification across geographies and product lines, from traditional betting data to emerging prediction markets, is reshaping the company’s revenue profile at pace.
