T5C has officially launched as a standalone sports betting technology brand following its separation from Checkd Group, where it previously operated as the internal development unit known as Checkd Dev.
The new studio went live in July 2026, marking a significant structural shift for a team that had spent years building the technical foundations underpinning one of igaming’s most prominent affiliate operations.
With a 17-year industry track record, the group behind T5C was responsible for the technology infrastructure that helped drive Checkd Group’s growth across multiple social media channels and audience engagement platforms.
Operating independently, T5C will focus exclusively on delivering technology solutions to the wider betting sector, helping operators streamline product development and accelerate the deployment of improved betting experiences.
The studio’s proprietary BRUNO platform combines live odds, sports data and statistical trends to generate relevant betting opportunities in real time for operators seeking smarter product delivery.
Ahead of the 2026 World Cup, Betfred deployed T5C’s BRUNO platform to launch Smart Accas, Trending Accas and Trending Bet Builders across approximately 1,250 Self-Service Betting Terminals in its retail network.
T5C Founder and CEO Adam Patton told SBC News: “T5C is about building betting products that deliver for partners and get used by customers. It’s not just about shipping something. It’s about building things that are useful, easy to use and shaped around the people who rely on them every day.”
The company already counts Flutter, evoke and News UK among its established commercial partnerships, positioning it well ahead of traditional start-ups entering the B2B technology space.
By separating from Checkd Group, T5C is positioning itself as an independent B2B technology supplier at a time when operators are increasingly outsourcing specialist product development to partners capable of delivering at speed and scale.
Patton added: “We have kept a talented, close-knit team together for years, which is why we can move quickly, understand the pressure around launches and build products that last. BRUNO is already helping partners turn sports data and betting intelligence into more relevant customer experiences, and we’re now pushing that further through automation, AI-assisted development and a sharper product focus. The ambition is simple: build better products, launch them faster, and help our partners stay ahead.”
The launch signals T5C’s clear intention to compete across the sportsbook, affiliate and media ecosystem, backed by an existing portfolio of enterprise clients and proven commercial deployments in the UK market.
