Yggdrasil And Eeze Sign Multi-Year Studio In A Box™ Deal To Launch Original Slot Content

Yggdrasil has signed a landmark multi-year agreement with Eeze, marking the first partnership to fully leverage its Studio in a Box™ program for original slot development.

The deal represents a significant milestone in Yggdrasil’s strategic push to reshape how casino games are developed and brought to market at speed.

Through the Studio in a Box™ program, Eeze will use Yggdrasil’s proprietary Game in a Box™ technology to build and launch original slot titles without traditional development complexity or cost.

Game in a Box™ is Yggdrasil’s in-house game development platform, built over the past two years using advanced automation, machine learning and AI-assisted tools.

The platform significantly accelerates the creation of game mathematics, game logic and source code, reducing development timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

The partnership with Eeze serves as the first commercial deployment of Studio in a Box™, demonstrating how partners can benefit from Yggdrasil’s experience and global distribution network.

The first two new Eeze titles are expected to launch towards the end of the year, with a planned release cadence of two new games per month across multiple regulated markets.

James Curwen, chief executive officer at Yggdrasil, said: “From the first conversations with Eeze, it was clear they had the ambition, the ideas and the commercial drive to build something meaningful. What they needed was the framework to do it at scale.”

Curwen added that the program was designed in direct response to consistent market feedback, stating: “We kept hearing the same thing from businesses across the industry: they wanted more control over their content roadmap, but didn’t want the cost and complexity that comes with building a large development operation from scratch.”

Graeme Powrie, chief commercial officer at Eeze, described the agreement as a pivotal step forward for the company’s broader commercial ambitions in the supplier space.

Powrie said: “This partnership with Yggdrasil is an important step in accelerating Eeze’s long-term ambition. Studio in a Box™ allows us to scale our slots strategy at pace, extend our reach in the market, and build on the work already done to position Eeze as a dynamic provider.”

He added that the deal “sets us up strongly for the future as we continue to grow as a multi-vertical supplier,” signalling Eeze’s intent to expand well beyond its current footprint.
