SOFTSWISS, a global iGaming software provider, has expanded the segmentation feature within its Casino Platform, giving operators more precise control over player engagement.
The updated tool allows operators to group players based on deposit activity, betting behaviour, loyalty data, tags, payment methods, sportsbook activity, and a range of other criteria.
Multiple filters can be combined simultaneously, enabling brands to build more detailed player groups tailored for specific retention and engagement campaigns.
Player lists refresh automatically as conditions change, meaning operators can respond far more quickly to shifts in player behaviour without manual intervention.
According to SOFTSWISS internal data, 99.5% of player events are delivered in real time, ensuring connected services can trigger actions immediately when a player matches a segment.
The segmentation feature is built as a standalone service rather than as an embedded part of the platform, which helps maintain stable performance even under high workloads.
Operators can apply the tool across a wide range of Casino Platform functions, including bonus campaigns, tournaments, lotteries, referral systems, payment scenarios, and motion automation workflows.
Suren Vardanyan, head of Sales at SOFTSWISS Casino Platform, commented: “Real-time segmentation is the difference between generic campaigns and personalised experiences. With the segmentor, we build dynamic player groups that automatically adjust to behaviour – so operators can localise messaging and offers for thousands of players simultaneously. This eliminates delays and transforms campaigns from one-size-fits-all to truly targeted.”
Operators who also use the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook can apply the same segmentation capabilities to their sportsbook audiences, managing both verticals through a single unified tool.
South African betting operator JabulaBets already uses the feature across its acquisition, marketing, and operations teams, applying it to promotional targeting, customer analysis, and KPI reporting based on specific business use cases.
The JabulaBets team uses segmentation to define qualification rules for promotions and analyse first-time depositors by registration date, enabling more accurate and data-driven reporting.
This Casino Platform update follows SOFTSWISS’ introduction earlier in 2026 of its Prediction Markets Platform, a fixed-odds solution covering event-based wagering across politics, economics, technology, and cultural events.
SOFTSWISS operates with over 2,000 employees across offices in Malta, Poland, and Georgia, and its product portfolio includes the Casino Platform, Game Aggregator, Sportsbook Platform, and Prediction Markets Platform.
