Bet365 has launched a new Fantasy Sports product timed to coincide with the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off on June 11.

The free-to-play mobile game was developed in partnership with B2B sports gamification specialist LOW6, which focuses on building interactive F2P mobile experiences for sports fans.

Available to users aged 18 and over across the United States and Canada, the app is accessible in all eligible markets with the sole exception of Washington state.

The game blends fantasy sports competition with collectible athlete card mechanics, allowing users to open in-app player packs and build competitive lineups using real-world statistics.

Players can collect athlete cards on a daily basis, earn and spend in-app coins, train their athletes, and climb division-based leaderboards against other competitors.

The top prize on offer through the fantasy contest is $50,000, giving users a meaningful financial incentive to engage throughout the tournament.

Bet365 has also introduced a separate free-to-play World Cup Tournament Challenge, a team-focused game that draws comparisons to the March Madness bracket format.

That game tasks participants with predicting outcomes across both the Group Stage and Knockout rounds, with Daily Doubles available to accumulate points for each correct selection, and a prize pool that also reaches $50,000.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the launch of the bet365 Fantasy Sports app across North America ahead of the World Cup, a tournament deeply valued by our fanbase,” said Trip Stoddard, Head of Business Development at bet365.

Josh Turk, Chief Strategy Officer at LOW6, added: “bet365 has built one of the world’s most trusted sports betting platforms by consistently delivering exceptional experiences for sports fans.”

Turk continued: “With bet365 Fantasy Sports, we’re excited to help extend fan engagement beyond their core business and into a new category of interactive mobile gaming entertainment.”

Beyond the gamification launch, bet365 sportsbook will run a range of promotional offers during the tournament, including its Early Payout Offer, which pays out winnings early if a selected team goes two goals ahead.

Additional offers include the Open Account Offer and the Sub On Play On promotion, where a qualifying bet carries over to a substitute player if the originally selected player is taken off.

The fantasy launch arrives as bet365 continues to broaden its regulated footprint in North America, having gone live with both sports betting and online casino in Michigan as recently as April.

The operator is also licensed in Ontario and has registered to launch in Alberta when that province opens its commercial online gambling market to operators on July 13.
