    ClickOut Media Helps Raise £40,000 for UK Charities at Sports Stars Fishing Championship

    Digital marketing agency ClickOut Media has helped raise a record-breaking £40,000 for three UK charities as a lead sponsor of the Target Sports Stars Fishing Championship.

    Now in its third consecutive year of support, the agency once again played a pivotal role in bringing together sporting celebrities for the annual angling contest, staged by JBD Events and broadcast on ITV4. In a surprise outcome, ClickOut Media’s own Neil Roarty landed the day’s heaviest catch, edging out competition from the likes of Luke Littler, Tony Bellew and Barry Hearn.

    The event attracted further high-profile names, including darts champions Adrian Lewis, Rob Cross and James Wade. Funds raised will be shared between the Willow Foundation, Haven House Hospice, and St Francis Hospice.

    Reflecting on his unexpected win, Roarty said:

    “As a complete amateur angler it was great to pull off a bit of a shock victory – especially when coming up against athletes who are used to winning on the biggest stages. But the real highlight of the day was raising money and awareness for three great causes all doing essential work, as part of our continued charity collaboration at ClickOut Media.”
