Aposta Ganha, the rapidly expanding Brazilian sports betting and casino platform, has successfully completed its license application via the Betting Management System (Sigap) to operate within Brazil’s regulated market.

Gustavo Henrique, Legal Head of Grupo Aposta Ganha, commented:

“These are strict security criteria, transparent and demanding responsibility, ensuring greater consumer protection and significantly contributing to the integrity of the market. This new phase fosters fair competition, and we are ready to follow all the procedures to obtain the license.”

Operating in Brazil for six years, Aposta Ganha is set to take on a significant role under the new rules established by the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance, starting from January 1, 2025. With a strong presence in both Brazil and Mexico, the company has consistently adhered to legal standards, proving its commitment to operating within a regulated market.

As a strong proponent of Responsible Gaming, Aposta Ganha ensures that only players over the age of 18 can access its online platform. This commitment to strict legal compliance has been a cornerstone of the company’s operations, even before the SPA’s recent ordinances.

Aposta Ganha is now on track to begin its regulated operations from January 1, 2025, pending the SPA’s final approval for the official license.

Elvis Lourenço, CEO of Grupo Aposta Ganha, added:

“We have built a trusted reputation in the gaming and entertainment market, in addition to respecting the current Brazilian legislation and integrity in betting. Today, we reinforce our commitment to customers and society to continue promoting entertainment that is ethical, safe, and socially responsible.”
