Oddin.gg, the Prague-based betting content firm, has unveiled its new eHockey product ahead of the upcoming National Hockey League season.
The round-the-clock, head-to-head ice hockey offering delivers 1,600 studio-produced matches per month, giving operators a constant stream of wagering content.
Unlike traditional sports broadcasts, the matches are short, frequent, and played by real people inside a studio environment, keeping the format fast-paced and immediately engaging.
Trading and risk management services are handled entirely by Oddin.gg’s in-house team, ensuring operators receive a fully managed product from end to end.
The eHockey launch is part of a broader rollout that will eventually cover eFootball, aligned with the NFL, and eBasketball, aligned with the NBA.
Marek Suchar, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Oddin.gg, explained the commercial thinking behind the expanding content catalogue clearly and directly.
“Every one of these titles adds a few thousand matches a month, and that is the point,” said Suchar, addressing the gaps that operators routinely face in their schedules.
“Operators aren’t short of content on a Champions League night. They’re short of it on a Monday afternoon, and that’s where a sportsbook’s engagement numbers are decided,” Suchar continued.
“We’re building a catalog that makes those hours worth opening the app for, wherever the operator is,” he added, underlining the global ambition driving the product strategy.
One of eHockey’s key design principles is its independence from any league calendar, meaning operators and bettors are not tied to North American time zones.
This scheduling flexibility allows fans outside North America to access an NHL-style betting experience regardless of when games are actually being played in the league.
The product is designed to be as internationally available as possible, broadening Oddin.gg’s reach across global markets where ice hockey interest is growing steadily.
Esports betting remains the core of Oddin.gg’s business, but the company is actively working to bridge the gap between traditional sports and esports formats.
The eHockey release represents a tangible step in that direction, with American football and basketball equivalents already confirmed as part of the company’s upcoming product pipeline.
