ThrillTech, a side-betting technology company, has launched ThrillArena, a new tournament platform designed to transform how operators engage and reward players.
The platform brings together three distinct products, SlotsArena, LiveArena and SportsArena, into a single unified proposition available across casino, live and sports verticals.
One of ThrillArena’s most distinctive features is its entirely player-funded prize pool model, removing the need for any operator contribution to tournament rewards.
This approach is designed to give operators new revenue opportunities without the financial burden of traditional operator-funded prizes, making tournaments a more sustainable long-term proposition.
Tournament scoring is built on a range of carefully calibrated factors, creating a dynamic points system that evolves throughout competition to keep leaderboards competitive and balanced.
The system is specifically structured to give players who join tournaments later a genuine opportunity to catch up and compete for top rewards, preventing early leaders from running away with prizes unchallenged.
Operators using the platform can configure daily and weekly payouts, with monthly seasons providing a longer-term engagement layer designed to retain players over extended periods.
ThrillArena also introduces a Battle Mode feature, enabling limited player-versus-player challenges that feed directly into overall rankings and points standings.
Benjamin Bradtke, Co-Founder of ThrillTech, explained the thinking behind the platform, saying: “ThrillArena represents the evolution of tournaments: turning them from an operator-funded promotional cost into a player-funded engagement and revenue opportunity.”

ThrillArena is the second product in ThrillTech’s growing side-bet portfolio, following the earlier launch of its side-bet jackpot engine ThrillPots, which has already gained traction in the market.
The Cyprus-based company made significant commercial progress over the summer, partnering with established operators including Super and 888AFRICA to expand its market reach.
ThrillTech also secured a licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission in Greece, initially allowing it to offer its ThrillPots products to operators in that regulated market.
The company is set to publicly demo ThrillArena for the first time at SBC Summit in Lisbon, where it will be exhibiting at stand B331.
