Dilanti Media has announced a significant leadership transition, with founder Johan Styren stepping into the role of Chairman after years leading the company as Chief Executive Officer.
Styren established the Malta-based iGaming affiliate group in 2018, building it into a recognised name within the international affiliate sector over nearly a decade of operation.
The company has selected Daniel Prado as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a notable generational shift in leadership at the top of the business.
Prado is not a new face at Dilanti Media, having spent the past two years with the company serving as Head of SEO before his elevation to the top position.
Dilanti Media has described the move as an important step forward, framing it as the business entering what it calls a “next phase of development” in its corporate journey.
Styren will remain actively involved with the business in his new capacity as Chairman, focusing on long-term strategy and the identification of new business areas, products, and opportunities.
As CEO, Prado will take responsibility for day-to-day operations across the international iGaming affiliate business, alongside monitoring performance and executing key strategic directives.
The transition arrives as Dilanti Media, like many affiliate businesses in 2026, navigates a shifting industry landscape heavily influenced by the growing impact of artificial intelligence on SEO and organic traffic.
Prado brings considerable depth of experience in search engine optimisation, having previously served as Head of Search at Maltese SEO agency Aphex Media and as SEO Director at online bookmaker EBET before joining Dilanti in 2024.
His professional background also includes SEO roles at two of the industry’s most prominent affiliate and media businesses, Gaming Innovation Group and Catena Media, giving him a broad view of the sector.
Prado commented on his appointment, saying: “I’m grateful for the trust Johan and the board have placed in me.”
He continued: “Dilanti Media has a great team and a strong foundation, and my priority is to build on it by strengthening our core business, improving how we execute, and growing into new areas.”
Prado also acknowledged the value of Styren’s continued presence at board level, adding: “Having Johan’s continued involvement as Chairman gives us a real advantage as we explore new opportunities.”
