Vyking, a data-driven iGaming platform provider and games aggregator, has built its own sportsbook using FIRST.bet’s frontend-less SportOS technology.
The partnership sees Vyking’s product team design and develop the entire player experience, while FIRST.bet handles the sportsbook engine operating behind it.
Vyking owns the player interface and every decision about design and user flow, from how markets are presented in-play to how the bet slip behaves.
The company also built the mobile product from the ground up, shaping it around how players actually bet rather than around a shared supplier roadmap.
SportOS is specifically designed for operators that want to compete through their own distinct product rather than inheriting a supplier’s visual identity.
FIRST.bet handles pricing, trading, risk, bet acceptance and settlement behind the scenes, while new backend capability continues to be developed jointly between the two companies.
Tom Light, founder and CEO of FIRST.bet, said: “Vyking did the hard part. They had a clear view of what their clients needed and they built it themselves, rather than asking someone else to build it for them. That is what SportOS is for.”
Light added: “I do not think an operator should have to inherit our visual identity in order to use our engine,” reflecting the philosophy driving the SportOS product.

Founded in 2018, Vyking provides iGaming platform and games aggregation services, including white-label, turnkey and self-service products, serving operators across Europe, Asia and Africa.
FIRST.bet, founded by former SBTech executives, provides sportsbook technology across Latin America, Europe and Africa, and holds licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority and Sweden’s Spelinspektionen.
The company is also GLI-33 certified and ISO-audited, underlining the regulatory and technical credibility underpinning the SportOS engine that now powers Vyking’s sportsbook.
