Genius Sports has taken a significant step into the prediction markets space with the launch of a brand new comparison platform called Prediction.com.
The London-based sportstech company used the Legend media network it acquired in February 2026 to build and deploy the new site.
The $1.2 billion acquisition of Legend provided Genius Sports with the infrastructure needed to create a functioning comparison destination for prediction markets.
Prediction.com is designed to operate in a similar fashion to Oddschecker, the well-established odds comparison affiliate website widely used across the regulated betting industry.
The platform currently pulls in data from 11 apps, including Kalshi, Polymarket, Novig, Underdog, FanDuel Predicts, and Fanatics.
Users visiting the site can expect to see live game data combined with real-time prediction market pricing across a range of sports events and outcomes.
The platform will display probabilities, prices, and market signals, with Genius intending it to become a single destination for consumers to discover prediction markets.
The ambition behind Prediction.com is clearly tied to the explosive growth of prediction markets in the United States, which has driven target valuations of $40 billion for Kalshi and $22 billion for Polymarket.
Mark Locke, Chief Executive Officer of Genius Sports, outlined his position on the sector this week, describing prediction markets as a “net benefit” for the company while acknowledging regulatory decisions remain pending.
Locke wrote: “I believe they create more businesses to supply, more ways to monetise the same sports activity and more competition for the customers we help operators win.”
He also added that “most of the demand they have surfaced appears new,” suggesting he views prediction markets as additive rather than cannibalistic to existing betting activity.
Genius Sports is not alone in eyeing the prediction markets space, with rival data and technology provider Sportradar also paying close attention to developments in this rapidly evolving sector.
The blurring lines between prediction markets and regulated betting have drawn scrutiny from regulators and operators, many of whom argue there is little meaningful difference between the two products.
Prediction.com represents one of the more concrete industry moves yet to capitalise on that ambiguity and position a company at the centre of a fast-growing consumer market.
