ThrillTech, described as the global leader in side-bet jackpot technology, has been awarded a Gaming-Related Supplier licence by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
The licence grants ThrillTech the authority to deploy its opt-in side bet jackpot technology across regulated online casino, sports betting, and lottery operators throughout the province.
Benjamin Bradtke, co-founder of ThrillTech, called the development a landmark moment for the company’s broader global ambitions in regulated markets.

ThrillTech’s ThrillPots product allows operators to build bespoke, player-funded jackpot mechanics that layer directly over their existing core product offerings without disruption.
Because the jackpot operates as a fully independent, opt-in side bet, it does not interrupt gameplay or alter the return-to-player mathematics of the underlying games being offered.
This structure gives operators a scalable and non-volatile tool that boosts player engagement while generating incremental revenue streams that sit outside their existing product economics.
The new licence means ThrillTech’s existing multinational operator partners who also hold Ontario licences can now activate ThrillPots-powered jackpots within the province immediately.
Beyond facilitating existing partnerships, ThrillTech confirmed it is actively in discussions with new Ontario-based operator partners looking to differentiate their brands in the competitive local market.
Ontario now joins a growing list of regulated jurisdictions where ThrillTech holds approved status, including the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, Malta, Gibraltar, Brazil, and Peru.
