SBC Summit Americas 2026 brought together gaming professionals from across North and Latin America for three days of debate, deal-making, and industry dialogue.
The event took place at the Broward County Convention Center from June 9 to 11, drawing operators, affiliates, suppliers, and regulators under one roof.
Discussions surrounding prediction markets proved to be among the most talked-about topics of the summit, alongside a series of newly introduced networking programmes.
Tomer Imber, Senior Director of Sales at player engagement platform Optimove, highlighted the event’s capacity for cross-market collaboration and knowledge sharing across different Americas regions.
“You can tap into a session about the U.S in the morning, and in the afternoon you speak about Brazil or Colombia,” Imber said.
Regulatory representation was notably strong, with officials from jurisdictions across North and Latin America using the summit as a forum to exchange insights and explore collaboration.
Juan Carlos Santaella Marchan, Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, underlined the benefit of learning from varied regulatory journeys across the region.
“It’s really valuable because we have the opportunity to speak with operators and other regulators from around the Americas, share experiences and learn about the paths different markets have taken,” he said.
A major highlight of this year’s event was the debut of SBC Connections, a dedicated programme of curated networking experiences designed to help attendees build meaningful business relationships.
The initiative included pre-arranged meetings through the official event app, speed networking sessions, themed roundtable discussions, and post-session conversations focused on emerging sectors such as sweepstakes and prediction markets.
Dan Morrison, Director of New Business at Fast Track, praised the event’s integrated environment for driving productive conversations across the industry ecosystem.
“Having everything in one room definitely has its pros because it leads to stronger discussions and quicker decision-making. The networking between affiliates, operators and suppliers all go hand in hand,” Morrison said.
The six-stage conference agenda covered leadership, betting and casino, payments, technology, affiliation, regulation and compliance, and player protection across the Americas gaming landscape.
More than 250 industry experts took to the stage, including Stephanie de Flora of bet365, Ian Botts of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, Jeanine Hightower Sellitto of DraftKings Predictions, and David Edelman, former CMO of Aetna.
Networking Pass and VIP Pass holders were treated to the SBC Summit Americas Opening Party at The Wharf, while INFINITY Florida returned to DAER Nightclub and Dayclub with a headline set from Dutch DJ Oliver Heldens.
The SBC Awards Americas rounded out the week’s programme, recognising outstanding operators, affiliates, and suppliers active across the region.
SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark reflected warmly on the event’s overall success and the organisation’s longstanding relationship with the Americas market.
“SBC has always enjoyed a strong relationship with the Americas region, and it’s a privilege to bring together so many different markets and voices under one roof. We’d like to thank everyone who attended, exhibited and sponsored SBC Summit Americas 2026,” Sojmark said.
