OpenBet has confirmed that Chief Product Officer Nikos Konstakis will be elevated to the role of Chief Executive Officer before the end of 2026.
The appointment marks a significant leadership transition for the gambling technology firm, which has seen considerable corporate activity in recent years.
Current Acting Group CEO Jordan Levin will step back from day-to-day executive duties and transition into a Chairman position at board level.
Levin’s move to the chairmanship ensures he remains involved in shaping OpenBet’s long-term strategic direction rather than departing the company entirely.
Konstakis will shift his focus from leading operational and commercial execution to driving the company’s broader vision and day-to-day business priorities.
His mandate in the new role will centre on growth delivery and target prioritisation across OpenBet’s international customer base.
Konstakis brings a substantial industry background to the position, having led global sportsbook and product operations at Scientific Games between 2018 and 2021.
He later served as managing director of Scientific Games’ Athens-based digital operation before joining OpenBet in a senior capacity.
Earlier in his career, Konstakis spent 19 years at Intralot, where he rose to become group director of betting in 2015.
Levin has held the reins at OpenBet since 2021, steering the company through a period of notable transformation including a management buyout backed by entertainment executive Ariel Emanuel.
That buyout, completed following OpenBet’s separation from holding group Endeavor, gave the company a fresh platform from which to pursue its next phase of expansion.
Konstakis acknowledged his predecessor’s contribution, saying: “I want to thank Jordan for his leadership and the foundation he has built at OpenBet. It’s a privilege to take on this role and lead the business at such an exciting time.”

Levin expressed full confidence in the incoming CEO, stating: “Nikos has already been instrumental in driving the evolution of OpenBet and I have tremendous confidence in his leadership as CEO, having served in multiple and progressing senior executive positions at OpenBet.”
