Hexopay Holdings, the iGaming-focused payments company founded in 2018, has undergone a sweeping leadership overhaul following the exit of founder and former CEO Bryan Blake.
Blake’s departure marks a significant turning point for the business, which has provided payment services to iGaming clients since its establishment eight years ago.
The reshuffle comes as Hexopay prepares for the appointment of a new chief executive to lead the company through its next phase of development.
Blake did not leave alone, with two fellow board members also stepping down as part of the wider leadership transition recorded at Companies House.
Andrew Coyne, who served as risk and compliance director, submitted his resignation alongside Blake as the company moved to reshape its executive structure.
Ronan Smith, who held the role of director of partnerships, product and implementation, also departed as part of the same round of changes.
Four new directors have since been appointed to the Hexopay board, with Andrew Masters, David Evans, Paul Girvan, and Paul Monroe all taking up positions.
The appointments were recorded at Companies House in late June, formalising a transition that signals a clear break from the company’s founding leadership team.
Hexopay has built its reputation in the iGaming sector by offering payment integration services across a range of providers and platforms, making it a notable player in the space.
The company has not issued any further comment on the specific circumstances surrounding the board changes beyond its official statement on the leadership transition.
The arrival of four new directors simultaneously is an unusually large structural shift, suggesting the changes go beyond routine governance updates at the firm.
With a new CEO yet to be named, the incoming board will be tasked with managing the transition and maintaining confidence among Hexopay’s iGaming client base during what is a period of considerable internal change.
