Flutter Entertainment and EPIC Global Solutions have strengthened their commitment to safer gambling in Ireland through an extended partnership with the Football Association of Ireland.

The collaboration focuses on delivering structured gambling harm prevention education across the League of Ireland’s senior football ecosystem.

EPIC Global Solutions is a specialist organisation dedicated to reducing gambling-related harm through education and awareness programmes at grassroots and professional levels.

The partnership programme is designed to reach all 32 senior men’s and women’s teams competing in the League of Ireland over a three-year period.

Each club will receive a dedicated gambling awareness course as part of the initiative, ensuring players, staff, and stakeholders are properly informed about safer gambling practices.

The three-year timeframe signals a long-term commitment from both Flutter and EPIC rather than a short-term campaign or one-off intervention.

Flutter Entertainment, one of the world’s largest online betting and gaming operators, has made responsible gambling a central pillar of its corporate strategy in recent years.

The League of Ireland partnership reflects a broader industry movement towards embedding gambling harm education directly within professional sports organisations and their wider communities.

Ireland has seen increased regulatory and public scrutiny around gambling advertising and harm, making initiatives like this particularly significant for operators looking to demonstrate genuine responsibility.

By working through football as a vehicle for education, both Flutter and EPIC Global Solutions are targeting an audience that spans fans, players, and club officials across the country.

The programme represents one of the more ambitious safer gambling education efforts undertaken in Irish football, given the scale of clubs involved and the structured course delivery model.

Extending the FAI arrangement underscores Flutter’s intent to maintain and deepen its responsible gambling commitments in one of its key regulated markets.
