FanDuel Expands Kindbridge Behavioural Health Partnership To Strengthen Player Support And Early Intervention

FanDuel has revealed further details about its growing partnership with Kindbridge Behavioural Health, which has significantly broadened its responsible gaming programme since launching in 2024.

The Flutter Entertainment-owned operator first began working with Kindbridge in March 2024, when the relationship initially covered self-excluded customers in New Jersey and Ohio.

The partnership has since expanded well beyond those original states, now making Kindbridge assessments available to customers at the point of self-exclusion across additional markets.

More than 6,000 FanDuel customers completed a voluntary Kindbridge survey in March 2026, marking a significant milestone in the programme’s reach and customer engagement.

The survey was designed to encourage customers to reflect on their relationship with gambling and any connection to their mental health, aiming to prompt consideration before problems escalate.

Cory Fox, FanDuel’s SVP of public policy and sustainability, said the company remained firmly committed to investing in education, research and meaningful partnerships across the industry.

“By encouraging customers to take a step back and consider their play, we aim to normalise proactive thinking regarding responsible gaming and problem gambling,” Fox said.

Customers who choose to self-exclude are now offered a complimentary mental health assessment, giving them a direct route to clinical support at a critical moment.

Kindbridge delivers its support entirely online, working with people affected by gambling disorders through educational courses, peer groups, coaching and counselling with licensed therapists.

FanDuel has also built a range of in-platform controls to support the broader responsible gaming effort, including its My Spend dashboard showing deposits and net winnings over multiple timeframes.

Customers can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit, wager, loss and time limits, giving them greater control over their gambling activity at any given time.

The operator has invested in education alongside those safeguards, launching “The Comeback with Craig Carton,” a FanDuel TV series focused on recovery from problem gambling.

FanDuel also works with former NBA player Randy Livingston and agent Anita Smith through its Trusted Voices programme, providing resources for parents, guardians and coaches about gambling risks among young people.

Earlier in 2026, the operator added its “Play with a Plan” programme to its responsible gambling offerings, further expanding the resources available to customers.

Daniel Umfleet, Kindbridge’s founder and chief executive, said the partnership centres on helping people strike a healthier balance, from understanding their finances to recognising changes in spending habits.

The expanded collaboration also extends into employee education, financial-wellness initiatives and community programmes, broadening its impact well beyond individual player account tools.
