SBC Summit has announced a dedicated “Global Payment Compliance” track as part of its 2026 agenda, scheduled for Wednesday, 30 September.

The track will bring together operators, compliance specialists, payment leaders, legal experts and technology providers to examine how businesses can strengthen payments and combat evolving threats.

It forms part of the Payment Expert Summit stage alongside a Fintech track on Tuesday, 29 September, and a Crypto and Blockchain track on Thursday, 1 October.

Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, set the tone for the track’s importance, stating: “Payment compliance has become one of the industry’s biggest balancing acts.”

One of the headline panels, “AML in Motion”, will explore how operators are integrating the latest advances in anti-money laundering compliance into their day-to-day operations.

A second session, “Cross-Border Compliance: Navigating AML Across African Markets”, will focus on one of the industry’s fastest-growing regions and its unique regulatory challenges.

Speakers Maruf Lawal, COO of MOKO Afrika, and Adenike Oyebamiji, Legal Compliance West Africa at Velex Group, will join moderator Maleek Oyiza from Tradabets for that discussion.

The session will address how mobile money and alternative payment methods are accelerating growth across Africa while creating complex compliance demands across different jurisdictions.

Another key panel, “How Much Is Too Much Data?”, will tackle the tension between player privacy and the data requirements that modern compliance frameworks demand from operators.

James Myles of Dragonbet, Miguel Godinho of Betclic Group, and Vana Demetriou of ZENOBET will speak, with Jochen Biewer of Chevron Group moderating the conversation.

Additional sessions throughout the day will cover AML readiness for emerging game formats, the role of prediction markets and AI in financial oversight, and preparations for AMLA’s full regulatory rollout across Europe.

Delegates can also participate in a Compliance Show Floor Tour, a guided networking experience led by the SBC team connecting attendees with leading payment compliance exhibitors and their newest solutions.

Exhibitors interested in joining the Compliance Show Floor Tour can reach the sales team directly, while operators can reserve places on their preferred tour via the official SBC Summit website.

Conference access is included with Conference, Business and VIP Passes for SBC Summit, which will run from 29 September to 1 October 2026 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena.

The event is expected to welcome 40,000 industry professionals across three days of networking, exhibition and education in Lisbon.
