ThrillTech Becomes First Specialist Jackpot Provider Licensed In Greece After Hellenic Gaming Commission Approval

ThrillTech has secured a Category A1 Manufacturer’s Licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission, marking a significant regulatory milestone for the company.

The licence allows ThrillTech to offer its flagship product, ThrillPots, to regulated iGaming operators across the Greek market.

ThrillTech describes itself as a global leader in side-bet jackpot technology, a niche but increasingly influential segment of the iGaming industry.

Giles Potter, chief marketing officer at ThrillTech, commented: “As we continue to expand internationally, we’re especially proud of this approval, as it makes ThrillTech the first specialist iGaming jackpot provider to be licensed in Greece.”

Potter added: “We can’t wait to roll out in the market and demonstrate how our side-bet jackpot model delivers compelling new engagement mechanics which delight players while generating significant new revenues for our operator partners.”

A key aspect of ThrillTech’s regulatory approach is that its jackpot technology operates entirely independently of the core casino games and betting products offered by iGaming operators.

The company’s side-bet jackpots do not interfere with core game mathematics or alter the return-to-player probabilities of the underlying games offered by operator partners.

ThrillTech secures its own licences and certifications specifically to operate its proprietary random number generator software, which determines the outcomes of its independent side-bet jackpots.

These jackpots carry a separate operator-defined RTP and are funded by jackpot side bets placed by players who have opted in to participate.

Greece joins a rapidly growing list of regulated jurisdictions where ThrillTech holds licences or certifications, including Ontario and Gibraltar, which were recently announced additions to the portfolio.

The company’s existing licensed jurisdictions also include the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, Croatia, Malta, Brazil and Peru, reflecting its ambitious international expansion strategy.

With the Greek approval now in place, ThrillTech is positioned to tap into one of Europe’s most closely watched regulated iGaming markets, which has attracted significant operator interest in recent years.
