FC Porto and Betano have agreed to extend their existing front-of-shirt sponsorship deal by three seasons, keeping the partnership alive until at least 2028/29.
The agreement means Kaizen Gaming-owned Betano will continue as the primary shirt sponsor for the Portuguese champions, building on a relationship that has already lasted five years.
The extension cements one of Portuguese football’s most prominent commercial partnerships, with Betano’s branding remaining central to FC Porto’s identity on the pitch.
This season marks a significant expansion of the deal, as the Betano logo will appear on the front of the FC Porto Women’s Team shirt for the very first time.
Previously limited to the men’s setup, the sponsorship now covers three distinct squads within the club’s structure going forward.
The Betano branding will feature across the first team, the B team, and the Women’s Team, giving the operator far broader visibility across the entire FC Porto organisation.
FC Porto Executive Board Member and Chief Financial Officer José Pedro Pereira da Costa commented on the renewed commitment between the two parties.
“FC Porto is stronger when its partners are stronger too. It is through this mutually beneficial relationship, one that we have built on trust and commitment, that both our Club and our partners thrive,” said José Pedro Pereira da Costa.
Betano, operated by Kaizen Gaming, has grown into one of Europe’s most recognisable sports betting brands through high-profile football partnerships across the continent.
FC Porto remain one of Portugal’s most successful and decorated clubs, making them a premium commercial asset for any operator seeking football sponsorship exposure in southern Europe.
The extension through 2028/29 gives both parties long-term stability, with Betano’s visibility across multiple FC Porto squads representing a significant step up from the original arrangement.
