GAMOMAT, a prominent independent slot game developer, has expanded its Gaming for the Climate initiative with the addition of its new title, Alexandria Fire, to further its mission of climate action.
Launched in 2021, Gaming for the Climate is GAMOMAT’s commitment to supporting global efforts against climate change. Alexandria Fire is the fourth game to join this initiative, partnering with the non-profit organization WeForest. As part of the program, a portion of the game’s revenue will be donated to WeForest to aid in the restoration and protection of arid afromontane forests. This environmental focus addresses the threat of rising sea levels in Alexandria, which is losing its coastline yearly. WeForest’s work in combating desertification aligns with GAMOMAT’s dedication to environmental sustainability.
Set in the historic Mediterranean port city of Alexandria, Alexandria Fire is part of GAMOMAT’s successful Fire Respins series. Players embark on a mission with the goddess Isis to restore the Pharos of Alexandria’s flame to its former glory.
