SOFTSWISS, a global tech supplier for the iGaming industry, has taken swift action to support communities in Southern Poland affected by recent catastrophic floods. In September, Storm Boris unleashed torrential rains across Central and Eastern Europe, submerging thousands of homes and severely impacting regions in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Romania. Southern Poland was among the hardest-hit areas, with dozens of towns requiring urgent evacuations and support for affected residents.

To assist in the immediate relief efforts, SOFTSWISS made a financial donation to Wielka Orkiestra ?wi?tecznej Pomocy, a prominent Polish charity organization. With two development offices located in Poland, SOFTSWISS employees were able to quickly join the on-the-ground efforts to help those impacted by the floods.

Under the company’s coordination, Polish employees assembled and packed boxes containing over 100 kilograms of essential supplies. These packages included food, hygiene products, and necessary items such as matches, candles, and batteries. The supplies were then handed over to Caritas Polska, a leading charity spearheading relief operations in the flood-affected areas.

Earlier this year, SOFTSWISS also ran a large-scale charity and awareness campaign to support flood-hit regions in Brazil, demonstrating its global commitment to aiding communities in need.

“Unfortunately, natural disasters happen, and we don’t want to stand idly by. We strive to help in any way we can. This aligns with one of our core values, We See People, which applies not only to our employees. We always see the people beyond the business, and I believe our ESG initiatives reflect this,” said Natalia Perkowska, Deputy Chief HR Officer at SOFTSWISS.

The aid efforts in Poland and Brazil are part of SOFTSWISS’ broader global strategy, which emphasizes social responsibility and sustainable development (ESG). The company actively supports long-term social and environmental projects, with notable involvement in initiatives like World Environment Day, Pink October, Movember, and various environmental conservation efforts.

Recently, SOFTSWISS was honored as The Best Employer of 2024 at the SBC Awards, further highlighting its dedication to positive corporate values and community support.
