GGBET has wrapped up its title sponsorship of the Ukrainian 3×3 Basketball Championship, with the tournament’s final stage held in Kyiv this week.
The Kyiv-based gaming firm serves as title sponsor of the competition, forming part of a broader ongoing partnership with the Ukrainian Basketball Federation.
The championship ran across three months and spanned five Ukrainian regions, giving GGBET considerable national exposure throughout the competition’s duration.
A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament, competing across the various regional stages before the final showdown in the capital.
One of the more notable aspects of the tournament was the charitable dimension, with participating teams donating 50% of their winnings directly to the Ukrainian armed forces.
The total prize fund for the championship reached UAH 1m, equivalent to approximately £16,500, underlining the scale of the competition.
GGBET UA transformed the championship final into a major entertainment event, going well beyond the basketball itself to create a broader spectacle for attendees.
The operator packed the final with DJ sets, interactive activities, prize giveaways, and a performance from one of the country’s most decorated cheerleading squads.
“GGBET UA turned the championship final into a true celebration of basketball with a jam-packed entertainment programme for spectators: DJ sets, interactive activities, prize giveaways and a performance by one of the country’s most decorated cheerleading squads.”
The basketball sponsorship is not the only way GGBET has been building its profile in Ukrainian sport, with the firm also active in football through a recently extended contract with FC Polissya Zhytomyr of the Ukrainian Premier League.
The dual investment across basketball and football reflects GGBET’s wider strategy of embedding itself within Ukrainian sport at multiple levels simultaneously.
These activations demonstrate a consistent effort by GGBET to strengthen its brand presence on home soil through meaningful and high-profile sporting partnerships.
