SBC Summit And Affiliate Leaders Summit Earn CPD Accreditation Ahead Of September Lisbon Events

SBC Summit and Affiliate Leaders Summit have officially received CPD accreditation, allowing delegates to earn recognised Continuing Professional Development credits across both events this September.

The CPD Certification Service has formally accredited the conference programmes for both summits, marking a significant step in the professional recognition of iGaming industry education.

Every conference session, academy, and masterclass across both events will now contribute towards recognised Continuing Professional Development for attending professionals.

Delegates travelling to Lisbon this September will leave with formal professional development credentials in addition to the industry knowledge and networking opportunities the events are known for.

The accreditation reflects growing pressure across the iGaming sector for professionals to demonstrate ongoing learning as regulation, technology, and consumer expectations continue to evolve rapidly.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, made clear that education has always sat at the heart of what the organisation builds around its flagship events.

“Learning has always been one of SBC’s core priorities because a stronger industry starts with better-informed professionals,” said Sojmark.

CPD provides a structured and internationally recognised framework for ongoing professional learning, helping individuals demonstrate a genuine commitment to excellence within their fields.

Sojmark emphasised that attendance at SBC Summit goes far beyond passive listening, with delegates actively engaging with challenges, ideas, and the leading figures shaping the industry.

“People don’t come to SBC Summit just to listen to presentations,” Sojmark added. “They come to solve challenges, discover new ideas and learn from the people writing the rules of our industry.”

The SBC Founder highlighted that CPD accreditation extends the value of the event well beyond the days spent in Lisbon, creating lasting professional recognition for those who attend.

“CPD accreditation ensures that the value of that learning extends well beyond the event itself,” Sojmark continued. “Delegates leave with recognised professional development that supports their careers, while businesses benefit from teams returning with new knowledge, practical skills and fresh perspective.”

For operators, suppliers, and affiliates sending staff to Lisbon, the accreditation adds a measurable business benefit to what is already one of the most significant gatherings in the global iGaming calendar.
