Gambling.com Group Officially Becomes Grandstand As Corporate Identity Expands Beyond Affiliate Roots

Gambling.com Group has rebranded its corporate name to Grandstand, marking a clear departure from its origins as a gambling affiliate business.

The company confirmed it will retain the Gambling.com website name, which will continue operating as a consumer comparison and review portal for end users.

Grandstand will function exclusively as the corporate identity covering the group’s wider and growing collection of businesses across multiple sectors.

The company’s Nasdaq ticker will change from GAMB to GRSD when markets open on 23 July, with existing shareholders required to take no action as the CUSIP number remains unchanged.

CEO Kevin McCrystle said the new name unifies a portfolio now spanning sports, gaming and entertainment, which includes Gambling.com, Casinos.com, WhichBingo, RotoWire, OddsJam, OpticOdds and Spotlight.Vegas.

McCrystle explained: “Grandstand captures our position as the intelligence layer powering informed decisions for consumers and partners across sports, gaming and entertainment.”

He added: “The new name Grandstand brings together the broad array of products and services in our portfolio, while also creating room for what we are building now and our long-term roadmap.”

The group’s operations now reach well beyond traditional affiliate marketing, with OpticOdds and RotoWire supplying sports data including odds movements, injuries and content to commercial clients.

Grandstand also sells advertising services, audience monetisation technology and tickets or experiences connected with Las Vegas venues, further broadening its commercial footprint.

The rebrand reflects years of sustained acquisitions beginning with the company’s founding in 2006 and its Nasdaq listing in July 2021, with RotoWire, BonusFinder and Freebets.com joining along the way.

The most significant acquisition came in January 2025 when the purchase of Odds Holdings brought both OddsJam and OpticOdds into the business, opening recurring consumer subscriptions and enterprise sports data as new revenue streams.

Spotlight.Vegas joined the group later in 2025, extending Grandstand’s reach into entertainment ticketing and live experiences connected to the Las Vegas market.

Sports data has grown considerably in importance, generating 26% of fourth-quarter 2025 revenue, the highest share ever recorded within the group.

Leadership also shifted during this period, with McCrystle succeeding Charles Gillespie as CEO in May, while Gillespie, who led the company since its formation, moved into the executive chairman role.

The transition has coincided with a tougher stretch for the original marketing business, as first-quarter 2026 revenue came in broadly flat at $40.4 million, with sports data growing 13% while marketing revenue fell 5%.

The company also announced a proposed restructuring centred on wider artificial intelligence adoption, which is expected to reduce the workforce by 25% and deliver $13 million in annualised savings.

The rebrand formally separates the listed company from its best-known consumer website, with Grandstand now positioned as a media, data, technology and live entertainment group.
