Kambi has reported a strong second quarter of 2026, with revenue climbing 13% to €45.9 million on the back of a record FIFA World Cup trading period.

The B2B sportsbook technology provider credited the expanded 48-team tournament with driving unprecedented volumes across its global partner network throughout the competition.

Kambi and its Turnkey Sportsbook partners collectively surpassed 100 million bets placed during the FIFA World Cup, marking a significant milestone for the business.

Data from Kambi’s global partner network also pointed to a continued shift in player behaviour, with growth in higher-margin products reducing dependency on traditional core markets.

Player props and Bet Builder were identified as key drivers of that shift, reflecting broader trends in how bettors are engaging with modern sportsbook products.

The expanded tournament format delivered on the increased turnover potential that had been anticipated heading into the competition, with Kambi also exceeding its average turnover per match figure.

Average stake also increased compared to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, further underlining the stronger commercial performance across the tournament.

Kambi attributed much of its product progress during the World Cup to AI-driven technology, which powered improvements across a range of areas within its sportsbook platform.

Those improvements included expanded player props markets, increased Bet Builder combinability, reduced suspension times, lower live delays, and enhanced uptime throughout the tournament.

CEO Werner Becher commented on the results, saying: “Surpassing 100 million bets before the final demonstrates both the scale of our network and the progress we are making in sportsbook innovation.”

Becher added: “This is the first World Cup fully traded by our AI-powered capabilities and we’ve seen the impact in stronger product performance, greater engagement with player props and Bet Builder, and a betting mix that continues to evolve beyond traditional markets.”

The Q2 figures contributed to what Kambi described as a significant first half of 2026, with the company also upgrading its full-year guidance following the strong performance.
