The upcoming SBC Summit will feature a dedicated Fintech conference track, placing payment innovation, fraud prevention, and responsible gambling under the industry spotlight.

Scheduled for Tuesday, 29 September, the track will bring together operators, payment providers, fintech specialists, and compliance experts to address the sector’s most pressing challenges.

The Fintech track sits within the broader Payment Expert Summit stage, alongside specialist tracks covering AML and Compliance on 30 September and Crypto and Blockchain on 1 October.

Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, outlined the significance of the programme, stating that “fintech is now influencing almost every stage of the player journey, from how players are onboarded and verified to how operators manage compliance, prevent fraud and support responsible gambling.”

Sojmark added that “as these technologies continue to evolve, operators have an opportunity to deliver experiences that are faster, more seamless and more secure, while strengthening compliance and player protection.”

The track opens with a session titled “From Click to Cashout: Building Reliable Payment Infrastructure,” featuring payment leaders including Sean Spiteri of Eaton Gate Gaming, Ran Cohen of BridgerPay, and Mariola de la Piedra of Grupo GELSA.

A second session, “Solving Payments at Scale in Regulated Markets,” will examine how operators can maintain consistent payment experiences across fragmented regulatory environments while balancing local requirements and operational efficiency.

Rudy Attieh of PGWay, Mark Watts of Aircash, Olga Gunchenkova of Flutter International, and Andrea McGeachin of Neosurf are among the confirmed speakers for that session.

The track then moves to digital identity with “Beyond ID Checks: The New Role of Identity in Gaming,” where Vasilije Lekovic of Trustly, Antony Jordan of Oddset, and Mário Cardoso of Solverde.pt will examine how upcoming EU AML reforms are reshaping verification requirements.

The Fintech track concludes with “Data-Powered Responsible Gambling: Leveraging Fintech Insights,” featuring Nataly Shpak of 13Aff, Piotr Lisak of Q Digital Assets, and Ivan Ochoa of Grupo GELSA discussing how financial data can identify harmful gambling behaviours earlier.

Beyond the conference stage, attendees can access two dedicated networking initiatives, including Smart Connect for pre-arranged meetings and the Fintech Show Floor Tour for guided exhibitor introductions.

SBC Summit runs from 29 September to 1 October 2026 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and MEO Arena, welcoming 40,000 industry professionals across three days of networking, exhibition, and education.

Conference access is included with Conference, Business, and VIP Passes, though delegates attending Fintech-focused networking opportunities will require a Business or VIP Pass specifically.
