SBC Summit is set to launch a dedicated Sports Betting Innovation track, shining a light on the technologies reshaping the next generation of sports wagering.
The track forms part of the wider Tech and Innovation Stage and is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 29 September at SBC Summit.
Operators and technology experts will gather to explore how sportsbooks can deliver faster, smarter, and more engaging betting experiences for their players.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said: “The sports betting industry has never had more access to technology, data, and innovation.”
Sojmark added: “The challenge is no longer finding new tools, but understanding which ones create genuine value and how to use them effectively.”
He also noted that the track “has been designed to help delegates cut through the noise and focus on the technologies, partnerships, and strategies that can deliver a real competitive advantage.”
The opening session, titled Sportstech Intelligence: How Live Data Shapes Smarter Odds, will feature Giovanni Bertoli of WSF Odds, James McKiernan of Genius Sports, and Hristo Spasov of Nederlandse Loterij as panellists.
That session will examine how advances in data processing, AI, and pricing technology are enabling faster odds creation and better in-play markets for bettors.
A follow-up session called Connecting the Game Through Next-Generation Tech Partnerships will feature Rob Brown, William Bonalume, and Ricardo Peixoto discussing how operators and data providers can form closer commercial relationships.
The track will also explore fantasy sports regulation in a session featuring John Pauley of Underdog Fantasy and Kevin Vela of Vela Wood, examining how businesses can navigate increasing scrutiny while using personalisation tools.
Integrity technology will take centre stage in a session titled Modern Manipulation: Are Today’s Integrity Tools Built for Yesterday’s Threats, addressing the evolving challenges facing betting market protection.
Beyond the main conference agenda, SBC Summit will offer dedicated Masterclasses through the Education+ Upgrade, designed to provide delegates with hands-on operational insight.
New guided Show Floor Tours, including dedicated Sportsbook and AI in Gaming routes, will give attendees direct access to suppliers and technologies shaping the industry’s future.
