SOFTSWISS Sportsbook Launches Fiat Display Feature and Lite Mode Ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026

SOFTSWISS, a global iGaming software provider with over 15 years of industry experience, has rolled out two significant new features for its Sportsbook platform.

The first addition, Fiat Display, allows cryptocurrency players to view their balances, bet amounts, and potential winnings in a fiat currency of their choosing.

Importantly, the feature only changes how values appear visually on screen, with players continuing to place bets in cryptocurrency throughout the entire process.

Back-office reporting for operators also remains completely unchanged, meaning the update is designed to improve user clarity without disrupting existing workflows.

The selected exchange rate is visible in the site header and refreshes automatically every 10 minutes to reflect current market conditions.

Operators can configure Fiat Display through the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook CMS and determine which fiat currency options are made available to their players.

The second new feature, Lite Mode, targets players operating on slow or unstable mobile internet connections, loading core sportsbook functions with simplified visuals and reduced background activity.

Key screens open considerably faster under Lite Mode, keeping the betting experience functional in conditions where the standard version of the platform would otherwise struggle or stall.

Victor Sekushenko, head of Sales at SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, commented: “With the FIFA World Cup 2026 drawing attention from millions of fans worldwide, every interaction matters. Players expect a fast and clear experience from the moment they open an app or place a bet. Product improvements that remove friction can have a direct impact on how effectively operators convert interest into long-term engagement.”

Both updates are available now, and operators can contact their account manager directly for configuration support and assistance.

SOFTSWISS recently also launched its Prediction Markets Platform, a fixed-odds B2B solution enabling operators to offer event-based wagering across politics, economics, technology, and culture.

The Prediction Markets Platform is available either as a standalone iFrame widget or as a direct integration within the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, giving operators flexible deployment options.
