Bet365 Launches Jackpot365 Progressive Prize Draw Feature Directly On Sports Betting Slips

Bet365 has officially unveiled Jackpot365, an opt-in add-on that allows sports bettors to enter a progressive jackpot prize draw alongside their regular wagers.

When placing a sports bet, users are presented with the opportunity to enter the draw, with winners selected entirely at random from all participating entrants.

The product is currently live for players in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, and Ontario, with launches planned for Michigan and Brazil in the near future.

Jackpot365 was built entirely in-house by bet365 and has already been available through the operator’s casino platform since late 2025.

Casino players have collectively won nearly £50 million from more than 112,000 jackpot wins since the product launched on that side of the business.

That figure works out to an average prize of approximately £446 per jackpot win across the casino player base.

Since Jackpot365 was extended to sports betting slips, 832 jackpots have been won by sports bettors, totalling £259,000 and averaging just over £311 per win.

The progressive jackpot structure means prize pools fluctuate constantly depending on how much players contribute, with the operator citing a theoretical RTP of around 85%.

That 85% figure represents the proportion of each stake that is automatically fed into both the jackpot prize pool and the prize reserve fund.

The buy-in cost differs between casino and sports betting users, with casino players adding £0.10 per hand, spin, or round, while sports bettors pay an additional £0.50 on top of their standard stake.

The higher entry cost for sports bettors comes with a proportionally greater chance of winning a jackpot, balancing out the increased spend.

This pricing difference reflects the practical reality that sports bets resolve over longer periods, meaning a typical session produces fewer opt-in opportunities than a casino gaming session would.

A spokesperson for bet365 described Jackpot365 as a “wonderful addition” to the sports betting platform, stating: “Designed and built in-house at bet365, this innovative product offering adds an extra layer of excitement and value to every visit to bet365.”

The timing of this launch is notable given the significant pressure on UK-facing operators following the increase in remote gaming duty from 21% to 40% this spring.

That tax rate, which was first announced in the government’s autumn budget, now stands as the highest of all UK gambling-related tax rates and has squeezed margins across the industry.

Products that blend casino-style mechanics with sports betting may represent a practical strategy for operators navigating that increasingly difficult fiscal environment.

Bradley Allen, a senior analyst at Eilers and Krejcik Gaming, suggested that this addition from bet365 “might be a genius feature.”
